Reflections from Lesson 1

The discussion of connectivism and constructivism have been some of the most rebost and enlightening of any I participated in since become a student in the ETC program. As for my experience of building a PLE I have been challenged to learn by discovery, by being a bricoleur (tinker) and consulting my networks. :) Betsy

  1. Dear Team 4,

It is great to know your team is exciting about the Connectivism. It is an exciting area to explore. In fact, we still don't now it much. We simply just use limited what we know to understand what is going on in this area. I suggest us to be open-minded to gain good understanding in this knowledge domain. We may face challenging and we may have to problem solve on our own but I think the effort I put forward would reward us.

PLE, NLE, and Connectivism are just pure technology impact to human learning; it is referred to our attitude toward to technology and learning. If we apply our learning paradigm to understand how PLE, NLE, and Connectivism work, it is extremely difficult to understand how people learn with new network technologies. Perhaps that is reason why we have difficulty to understand how younger generations learn, how they use network technologies, and why they them.
